2021 Year-End Market Update - East Austin Single-Family Homes

A total of 22 Modern single-family homes were sold in the 4th quarter of 2021 in the East Central Austin area! There’s still a very high buyer demand for homes in East Austin and prices are reflecting that trend. 

Taking a closer look at 4th quarter sales in 2021, the average list price in this market was $918,045 and the average sold price was $927,711 with an average list/sold ratio of 102% of the asking prices. Overall, it took an average of 23 days to sell a home in this market with 14 of those homes selling within the first 7 days. The highest price paid for a home in the East Central Austin market in the 4th quarter of 2021 was $2,065,000 for a 2,396 square foot, 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath new construction modern home with luxurious finishes on Comal Street. The lowest price paid was $575,000 for 2-bedroom, 2- bath, 922 square foot home on Zaragosa Street.
